Synopsis:

Coming from a very humble background, POON MUK HING (Ma Tak Chung) nevertheless is content with his lot. He works for the POONs of Dongshan as driver. His true identity of the eldest son of the family comes to light when he saves POON CHEUK WAH (Wong Ho Yin), the young master, in an accident. CHONG FUNG YEE (Wang Ming Chun, Liza), the first daughter-in-law in the family, has to admit unwillingly the fact that when she married into the family she was already pregnant. His true identity revealed, HING changes his name to POON CHEUK HING according to the genealogical table of the clan. The mother and son have since been locked in a seesaw struggle.

YIP HEUNG CHING (Sheh Charmaine) came from an influential family in Xiguan. She starts selling congee on a boat for a living with her elder brother after their family has fallen into decline. CHING and WAH used to go out but YEE did all she could to separate them. Later, CHING opens a teahouse with the help and support of HING. Spontaneously, love blossoms between them. Not long afterwards, the Poon family runs into a lot of troubles. YEE and WAH are unable to handle them at all. HING seizes the opportunity to restore the prestige of the family. For the sake of the benefit of POONs, he is prepared to sacrifice his relationships with other family members, his love as well as his friends. By doing so, he also involves himself in a never-ending bloody battle of power.

Mwuahahaha! Basically it's a drama about er.... I'm not sure about the storyline but AFAIK, the abandoned child(Ma Tak Chung)'s identity soon revealed and then fall in love with Charmaine. Then er... Poon family got in deep shii and here comes the hero-Mr. Ma to save the world!

Although there is/are no/not many action scenes involved in this drama, but I'm still expecting interesting plots! Such as:

1. Wong Ho Yin hates Ma Tak Chung for snatching Charmaine away from him. The fights are on!

2. Ma Tak Chung got haunted by devils! He becomes greedy and mean, fighting each other for powaaaar!

3. Fight la fight!

This will be a nice drama to spend my time together with "The Gem of Life". Last but not least, I like the OP song's chorus by Liza~ Shalalalala~

This series has 82 episodes man... 82 episodes are bloody hell long leh! It will be accompanied me throughout the whole semester 2. Just hope that this drama will not spark my interest so that I can focus more on final by that time. *cough*

Ap-alu-mau was earlier called "Apalumau". One fine day, I wanted to blog after I finished exam. Tried to login old blog[Hamsterism], but my login ID was rejected! Hamsterism was created with Hotmail then I realised that Blogger required me to login with Gmail. Sad...

But I wanted to blog! So I have to come up with a new name in order to create a new blog with Gmail. And then I came up with this -> Apalumau?

"Apalumau" is a mixture of malay and hokkien term, means "what do you want". Later on, I deformed it to "Ap-alu-mau", because I think er... It's nicer to pronounce. XD

Bugger

I wonder when will I settle down to one blog. Few days ago, I was thinking about starting a new blog. I mean new blog with new address. I spent quiet some time on thinking of new name, until I realized that I can just continue with the old blog, delete the posts and whalah! It's a new blog now!

Just do it! And I did it.

Trust me again. I will continue update this blog, publish more pictures and less emo posts. XD
